My name is Laura Daines and I am a Bachelor of Science (Registered
Nursing) student currently studying at Edith Cowan University Joondalup.

Due to my work experience as well as my university studies I have experience in Aged Care (High, Low & Dementia), Medical Wards, Mental Health and
paediatrics which has provided me with the ability to deal with various situations and remain calm.
I have a certificate 3 in Health Services Assistance, a current driver’s license, a reliable car and a current National Police Clearance as well as a variety of
other clearances and desirable requirements.

My name is Lauren, I am a 22 year old first year nursing student. I am great with kids and really easy to get along with. I love caring and looking after people, I am a very passionate and giving person and I will go out of my way just to make sure I do everything possible to help out and make other people happy. Hi I am 48 and live in South Guildford and have done so for 13 years. I am a carer for kids with special needs and the disabled.
At the moment I am caring for a 6 year old autistic boy,he is non verbal and in a wheel chair, this little guy is the love of my life and amazes me all the time.My duties with this little boy include, bathing, feeding, administrating medications, toileting and generally playing with him and making him smile.
I also care for a 30 year old disabled young man, who sustained severe head trauma due to a car accident when he was 7 years old.
I have also cared for children with cerebral palsy and tuberous sclerosis.
I am a very happy. positive bubbly person who gets a great deal of enjoyment knowing I am making a difference in peoples life and I am.
The families of the kids I have cared for have all loved me as I bring a lot of happiness and fun to their homes.
