I am looking for someone to care for my mum on a respite type care. I sometimes have to travel with my husband and because he works in Melbourne,I will sometimes have to go down there on weekends.I also may require someone a few hours a week to complement the each package mum has which covers only one to two hours a day five days a week. Initially I will need someone from 26th June to 30th June to be in the house till around 7pm at night as my son is home after that normally but this may change.

My wife has younger onset alzheimers (she is 58) and requires a companion to take her for a walk or coffee, play dominos or other amusement for about an hour, three days each week . She is resident at a Hammondcare North Turramurra care facility. She has no physical difficulties and can converse well (all be it repetitive).
A friendly, happy person would be perfect. The carer would need to arrange convenient times with the staff of the facility.
