Find a Carer is a single place to find a range of care options through local Individual Carers and Service Providers. Find a Carer puts choice and control in your hands. You can:- Quickly and easily search our large database of carers.
- Post a Job to nearby carers.
- Great value carer rates from $30 per hour.
- Book your ideal carer and pay through the Find a Carer website.
- All carers are covered by our group public liability, professional indemnity and personal accident insurances.
- NDIS funding and My Aged Care funding welcomed.
For Carers
Find a Carer is an online community where Individual Carers can connect easily with older Australians and people with disability. You can:
- Choose your own hourly rate, work type, location and schedule working as an independent contractor.
- Be covered by our group public liability, professional indemnity and personal accident insurances.
- Service bookings and payments are managed through the Find a Carer Website automatically with full transparency.
- Find a Carer adds a 15% mark up to your hourly rate which is paid by the client.
- A merchant fee of 2.5% is deducted from your payment to cover bank charges.
To register you will need the following:
- An electronic copy of your recent police check (must be less than 1 year old).
- An electronic copy of your photo ID eg drivers licence (both sides).
- An electronic copy of any relevant certificates e.g. Certificate III in Individual Support.
- Your ABN (Australian Business Number). If you do not have one please read.
- An electronic copy of a valid Working With Children’s Check or equivalent (if you are planning to work with children).
For Support Coordinator
Find a Carer is committed to working together with aged care and disability Support Coordinators, offering a great resource to find a variety of care, support and experience options for your clients.
Via Find a Carer you can:
- Quickly and easily search our large database, provide choice to your clients
- Offer ideas of and options to your clients that extend beyond care and support
- Post your clients job requirements and receive applications for your specific needs
For Service Providers
Find a Carer is committed to working together with existing Service Providers to offer increased choice and the best care for older people and people with disability. While Individual Carers will play a role in the sector, it is the Service Providers that will continue to offer a broader range and different services.
Via Find a Carer you can:
- Quickly and easily search our large database of casual carers.
- Avoid expensive agency fees (we are not an agency).
- Post your shift requirements to nearby casual carers.
- Great value carer rates from $30 per hour.
- Book your ideal carer and pay through the Find a Carer website.

For Experience Providers
Find a Carer is all about extending life experiences for elderly Australians and people with disability. We encourage individuals and organisations to sign up and register your experiences, events or activities that others can participate in.
Our platforms manages all the promotion and booking logistics. Your job is to publish experiences and innovate.

For Advertisement Providers
Find a Carer is all about extending life advertisements for elderly Australians and people with disability. We encourage individuals and organisations to sign up and register your advertisements, events or activities that others can participate in.
Our platforms manages all the promotion and booking logistics. Your job is to publish advertisements and innovate.
